CTAP Peer Network Forums

The CTAP Peer Network Forums are a place to ask transit-related questions and get answers from others working in the field. These discussion forums are moderated by a transit specialist in each of the fields listed below:

In-person conversations that result from face-to-face meetings are invaluable. However, long travels away from the office are not always feasible. The goal of these forums is to encourage a conversation among transit professionals from their offices, online. We hope users interact with each other frequently by coming here to ask questions and lend their expertise to others when they can.

How do I use the forums?

First of all, make sure you are a registered CTAP Peer Network user. This will give you access to posting on the Forum.

If you have a question or discussion relating to any of the above subjects, just post it on the corresponding forum page. Someone, either the moderator or another user with expertise in that subject, will answer your question. Sometimes there may be different ways of answering a question, or different directions a discussion could go, and you'll get a lot of responses. We also encourage you to read through other active discussions -- there may be one that needs your expertise!

Why was my question deleted?

Our moderators ensure the forums are fresh, on-topic, and contain useful information. If a question or answer is no longer pertinent to the conversation, or has veered off-topic, it may be removed.

How do I report off-topic or incorrect postings?

If there is one we don't catch, please alert CTAP Peer Network manager Ginger Ammon at ammon@ctaa.org and we will look into it.
